This year our Prek-1st Grade and 2nd-5th Grade classes will be learning about the values and traditions of other religions and cultures and how that supports our Unitarian Universalist values. Our goal is to encourage spiritual and ethical development, the creation of a Unitarian Universalist identity, and literacy in world religious traditions
Prek-1st Grade
Stories of our Faith and Others. This year our young children will hear stories from our faith and other religions around the world. The class structure will have a time to light the chalice, an age appropriate story, and a related activity to help with the wiggles and/or an art project. Snack and drink will be provided. Holidays and Holy Days This year our elementary children will learn about the holidays and holy days of our faith and those around us. The class will have a time to light the chalice, learn about the holiday or holy day, why it is celebrated and then a related activity and/or art project. Snack and drink will be provided.
