Through Women’s Eyes Festival and Green Room
Through Women's Eyes, a local non-partisan not-for-profit organization, is preparing for its 26th annual “Reel Equals” Film Festival in Sarasota March 7 to 9. The organization is dedicated to gender equality and focuses especially on media, thus the festival features films written and/or directed by women. As feminism advocates for all life, women’s creative critiques often highlight environmental concerns; therefore, this year’s festival will spotlight “green” films.
