Youth Group
Youth group is dedicated to those in middle school and high school. Youth engage in a variety of ways including thought provoking curriculum, social justice events, fun teen events, and family events. Youth classes are held at 10:30 am each Sunday.
Neighboring Faiths
This year our youth will be studying, exploring and visiting other faiths in our community. Every three to four weeks, the youth will explore one of the faiths that they have chosen collectively to study this year. The class allows for open questions with a person of that faith, a visit to the place of worship, and then a follow-up integration of what the youth learned into their UU lives. After visiting the places of worship, the youth will share a meal together either with the members of the faith or at a local restaurant.
The Youth have chosen to learn more about the following faiths:
Judaism, Islam, Greek Orthodox, Mennonite, AME, Buddhism, Scientology
A Sample of the Course offering is here.
The class schedule can be found here.

RE Pancake Brunch was enjoyed by the whole congregation. We made a delicious brunch of pancakes , waffles, fruit, bacon & sausage to the congregation after Service on April 24th. All proceeds from the event were donated to ShelterBox. Our donation along with the Social Justice "Share the Plate" contribution will sponsor 2 shelterboxes. Thanks to all the children, youth, parents and RE volunteers who worked hard on this event. Extra thanks to the youth & Jim Redifer for the great job organizing, shopping & hosting the brunch.
“Operation 100 Sandwiches” was a huge success! We made over 110 sandwiches and filled 100 lunch bags with fruit, chips and granola bars for the homeless served at Resurrection House. Thanks to all the children, youth & parents who worked hard getting this project done. Thanks also to everyone who donated to the purchase of the lunch fixings.

Program: 12 sessions, The first session is a mandatory parent orientation. The sessions will be held weekly and will run for 90 minutes.
