Our hymns
The Unitarian Universalist Association publishes one hymnal--Singing the Living Tradition (STLT)—and two supplements, Singing the Journey (STJ) and Las Voces del Camino (VDC). Additionally, the book Between the Lines provides background information about the songs and readings found in Singing the Living Tradition, and the Singing the Journey website has a wealth of information about that book. Some congregations like using the multigenerational songbook Come, Sing a Song With Me that includes twenty-five of the most popular and accessible songs from the two hymnals in an easy to use format.
Additionally, there are other songbooks and hymnals that are in use in many Unitarian Universalist congregations, each with its own particular usefulness. Some of these are available at www.uua.org/worship/music/hymnals, from which the above paragraph is taken.

Here in Sarasota we have found a wonderful resource in Notes from the Far Fringe, which includes a collection of lyrics and commentary on all the hymns from the grey and teal hymnals, pictured above. It is a blog written by Rev. Kimberley Debus, pictured here. For example, here's a link to the page about The Fire of Commitment, which includes a picture of "Fire Chalice," a tapestry by our own PeacePeg. Each page includes a search function which allows you to find any hymn in the blog.
