February 16, 2018 7:00 to 8:30pm. UUCS Sanctuary Presented by the Asolo Rep Theatre, Visible Men Academy, Manatee School for the Arts, UnidosNow, Booker Middle School, and others Faces of Change is Asolo Rep’s annual community-based theatre project. This is a revival presentation of the one created in 2017 that was inspired by themes of civil rights and racism. This project was created from real-life experiences of local residents and community members. Each conversation was recorded and transcribed, and then carefully arranged into the script presented here. The stories are a way to explore racism in our community and explore ways to build connections for greater understanding. |

One way is to encounter and explore diversity - race, ethnicity, sexuality, religion, age, capability, economics, politics.
