Join us for the "Save Democracy For All" Conference on Saturday, March 28th, from 8:00am-2:00pm at The Venice Community Center located at 326 Nokomis Ave. South, hosted by Social Justice Alliance of the Florida Suncoast (SJAFS). Unitarian Universalists of Sarasota is a founding members of SJAFS, with 25 lay and faith based member organizations, committed to social justice.
Conference features: Keynote Speaker Katherine Stewart, author of Money, Lies, and God: Inside the Movement to Destroy American Democracy will be keynote speaker and 5 workshops on Free and Fair Elections, Civil Discourse, Humane Immigration, Protect Our Public Schools and Religious Freedom and Democracy. The conference workshops include several UU facilitators Dale Anderson, Carol Lerner, and Maria Robayo. Snacks available all day.
