Adult Religious Education – Sacred Texts
Please join Rev. Jay Wolin on a journey through Sacred Texts of different religious traditions.
We will look at:
• the historical context of the texts,
• How they have traditionally been utilized within their own traditions
• And spend some time sharing what they can mean to us today.
Each class is self contained so if you miss one you can still attend any of the other classes.
Classes will be the third Thursday from 6:30pm-8pm in person and then the following Sunday on Zoom from 3:00pm-4:30pm (please be aware that the Sunday class is not always the third Sunday).
Both classes will be the same. We are offering them separately knowing that not everyone can come in person and/or in the evening.
