Why should I consider contributing to UUSRQ's Endowment Fund?
One important reason is that each year's operating budget benefits from a distribution of earnings from the Endowment, thereby providing important support to our staff and ongoing programs.
Beyond this annual contribution, however, the Endowment also safeguards the Congregation's future by providing a hedge against unforeseen threats to our financial stability. Overall, the Endowment provides a strong financial base for future generations of Sarasota Unitarian Universalists. Your contribution to the Endowment, then, will help to ensure a vibrant and meaningful future for our Congregation.
A separate Endowment Board of Directors provides responsible management of the invested funds. The Board is elected by the members of the Unitarian Universalists of Sarasota at the annual meeting of the Endowment.

DAF Direct makes it easier to support your favorite charities by giving directly from your donor-advised fund.
What is a DAF?A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allows charitably-inclined individual, families and businesses to make tax-deductible charitable donations of cash, publicly-traded stock and in some case, certain illiquid assets, to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program. |
