American Association of State Colleges and Universities’ American Democracy Project:
Member campuses host voter registration drives, town halls, and deliberative forums to make civic engagement part of the student experience. (https://aascu.org/civic-global-engagement/american-democracy-project/)
Civic Alliance: Partners with nonpartisan organizations to bring unique offerings to the business community and creates platforms for leaders to champion democracy, with voter participation as a core goal. (Civicalliance.com)
Fair Elections Center: works to make voter registration, voting, and election administration as accessible as possible, with a special focus on student and underrepresented voters. Social Education through Equity a/k/a SEE Alliance: Sarasota-based student-led intergenerational organization focused on empowering (ages 14-25) through political activism, LGBTQ advocacy, voter registration, and fighting for educational equity in local school boards. (seeourpower.org)
UU The Vote: mobilizes volunteers to protect voting rights, fight racism, and strengthen community organizing. Provides education, training, information, and hands-on opportunities to engage in specific campaigns directed toward these goals, e.g., through
post carding (with Reclaim Our Vote), letter writing (with Vote Forward), phone banks, or text banks. Site provides detailed instructions on how to organize such events. (sidewithlove.org)
