BOOK READ AND DISCUSSION GROUP
Join in on the discussion of this book on the first Thursdays (mostly) of the month as we explore together what Democracy means to us, where are we emotionally in our current political environment, what our civic personality might be, and actions that we can take.

This will be a hybrid discussion group (at least to start) where we will gather in-person and also via zoom starting on Thursday, November 6th in the Lexow Room from 6:30-8:00pm.  If you need the Zoom link, please contact [email protected]

Thursday- November 6, 2025-
Section 1- Introduction and Section 2 through "On Democracy: A Work in Progress"

Thursday- December 4, 2025- 
Section 2- "Polarized, Calcified and Exhausted" through Section 3

Thursday- January  8, 2026-
Section 4 - Your Civic Personality- Please take the quiz before the group meets.

Thursday- February 5, 2026-
Section 5-  "Audit your news consumption" through "How to Lobby Elected Officials Without Spending a Dollar"

Thursday- March 5, 2026-
Section 5- "Having Challenging Conversations about Politics" through Section 6.
