TO TELL THE TRUTH
Children's Programs at 10:30am on Sunday, October 11th
After the Time for All Ages in the service, children and youth join their teachers for Fun Activities.
Lower Elementary (K-2nd grade)
The Children will explore the concept of what is true or not by using our sense and our reasoning. They will hear the story of the Emperors New Clothes and then have a fun activity.
Tweens (3rd-6th grade)
The tweens will explore the concept of telling the truth and the consequences when we don't tell the truth or say something when we know something isn't true. There will be a fun activity to support these concepts.
Teens (7th- 10th grade)
The teens will share how they have experienced when someone is not truthful and play 2 lies and a truth game.

Sunday, October 18th- Pancake Breakfast... the children will preparing for and to serve at our congregation wide Pancake Breakfast.
Sunday, October 25th- Face Your Fears... The children will be learning through story and art how our fears can be overcome.
Sunday, November 1st- Honoring your Ancestors- We will be building an offrenda as part of the Day of the Dead celebration. Bring a photo of a loved one (people or pets) who have passed on. Also, bring your Halloween costume for our annual costume parade.

Do you love to have Fun? Are you comfortable helping children learn and play? Then we NEED you!
We need aides to assist in our Nursery, K-2nd grade class and 3-7th grade classes. There is no heavy lifting required nor anything to be prepared for the classes as you will be assisting the lead teacher that Sunday.
