Children's Programs at 10:30am on January 11th.
After the Time for All Ages in the service, children and youth join their teachers in the West Wing for Fun Activities. Topic: Resisting the Screen! Lower Elementary Class (K-2nd) with Ms. Kristen to hear the story, Screen Away, Time to Play, followed by playing easy board or card games. Upper Elementary Class (3rd-7th) with Ms. Catherine to hear the story, If you Give a Mouse an I-Phone, followed by a game on Healthy and Unhealthy Social Media. Teens- (7th - HS) will discuss how they feel about "screens" in their lives. NURSERY CARE IS PROVIDED FOR INFANTS TO 5 Years. For more info, contact Catherine Bonner at [email protected]

Lower Elementary Class (K-2nd) with Ms. Kristen to hear the story, Let Freedom Sing, and then play Unfair Candyland. Upper Elementary Class (3rd-7th) with Ms. Catherine to hear a portion of the book, The 1619 Project, Born on the Water followed by a game of Erase and Resist. Upper Elementary Class (3rd-7th) with Ms. Catherine to hear the story, Where Oliver Fits, followed by a values scavenger hunt. We need aides to assist in our Nursery, K-2nd grade class and 3-7th grade classes. There is no heavy lifting required nor anything to be prepared for the classes as you will be assisting the lead teacher that Sunday. VOLUNTEER HERE! |
